Q. What is Poppadum?
A. Poppadum is specific to Indian subcontinent, generally hand rolled at home by the grandmothers for home use, or distributed to close relatives and friends. They differ from area to area. In North India, the poppadums are mainly from Black Lentil, whereas in South India, they are made from rice. After rolling, it is sun dried and preserved. Pappadum is a standard accompaniment with Indian cuisine, which is eaten before meals as an appetizer, during or after meals. Poppadums are usually about six inch in diameter, sold in raw form and fried or roasted and consumed within minutes.

Q. What's so good about OUR poppadums?
A. Our Lentil Poppadums are healthy as they are full of proteins. We have developed a unique frying process, where oil is removed after frying to maintain oil percentage below 15%. So our Poppadums look and taste like roasted rather than fried. Our poppadums are also all natural ingredients, have no trans fatty acids, no GMO, no cholesterols and are Gluten Free.
